I focus primarily on criminal defense litigation. Throughout my career, I have gained substantial courtroom experience, serving as counsel in numerous jury and bench trials. I approach each case with attention to detail, ensuring that I am thoroughly prepared for trial. This level of preparation and experience allows me to achieve the best outcomes for my clients, whether through negotiated deals or by presenting the case to a jury or judge. Helping people fight back against criminal charges alleged the government is my favorite area of practice. I've resolved hundreds of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. I am a member of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Top 40 under 40 Trial Lawyers. Straight out of law school, I worked defending insurance companies in complex civil litigation for many years. This was excellent experience and propelled me to success as a trial lawyer. I have since represented injured people for claims against the insurance company. I have great experience dealing with expert witnesses and the mechanics of complex injury and death cases. Originally from Arkadelphia, I now reside in Little Rock with my wife and our four children. I attended Ouachita Baptist University, where I played football and served as a ROTC cadet. I am a Captain in the U.S. Army IRR. I earned my law degree with high honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2015.
