Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Connors attended the University of North Florida, where he played baseball and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994. Mr. Connors attended Loyola University New Orleans School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1999. After graduation, Mr. Connors stayed in Louisiana and served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jacques A. Sanborn of the 34th Judicial District Court, Division “E”, Parish of St. Bernard, State of Louisiana. Mr. Connors entered private practice in Louisiana in 2002, and returned to Florida to practice law in 2011. In May of 2017, Mr. Connors became board certified by the State of Florida in Labor and Employment Law and now limits his practice to litigating only employment cases. Mr. Connors practices in all Florida and Louisiana state courts and is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Florida, and the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, in addition to handling matters before the Merit System Protection Board (“MSPB”); Public Employee Relations Commission (“PERC”); Florida Department of Administrative Hearings (“DOAH”); and Equal Opportunity Employment Commission (“EEOC”).
