Clarisse Kobashigawa Available Now

Clarisse Kobashigawa focuses her practice on all civil litigation matters, including plaintiff’s personal injury cases, complex commercial business litigation, real property and land use disputes, and employment law. With fifteen years in private practice, Clarisse possesses jury trial experience in Hawaii’s federal and state courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums including arbitration and mediation. Clarisse has extensive experience with personal injury civil litigation involving 42 U.S.C. §1983 civil rights abuse, toxic torts, pharmaceutical litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death. She has advocated for a wide array of clients’ personal, economic and business interests in various forums, including federal court, state circuit courts, condominium and homeowners’ association litigation and disputes and council boards, mediation and arbitration. Born and raised in Honolulu, Clarisse earned a B.A. in Political Science from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She earned a Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. At Hamline, she received the CALI Award for excellence in Commercial Law (Secured Transactions). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and remains committed to perpetuating the Okinawan culture through her involvement with the Hawaii United Okinawan Association.
