Hello! I have been a resident of Rogers County since my childhood. I graduated from Catoosa High School in 1999. In 2003, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in psychology from Oklahoma State University. My undergraduate research was published in the Journal for Comparative Psychology in 2004. During law school, I worked as a Rogers County District Court Bailiff from 2005-2007 for the Honorable Judges Dwayne Steidley and Robert Price. While attending the University of Tulsa College of Law, I received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in international business transactions. In 2007, I obtained my Juris Doctor and was admitted to practice the same year. Over the years, I have acquired extensive litigation experience representing clients across Northeastern Oklahoma, and I am excited to continue that work at Griffin & Sears, PLLC in Claremore. Over the course of my practice thus far, I have represented hundreds of clients through agreed divorces, no contest divorces, motions to modify, contempt charges, mediations, and trials involving complicated custody and property disputes. Dozens of families have been formed through my representation of clients in step-parent and third-party adoptions. In addition to my representation of clients in guardianships involving both adults and children, I have also served as attorney for the child and guardian ad litem. I have assisted hundreds of clients charged with felonies and misdemeanors in navigating the criminal justice system as well as administrative proceedings through the Department of Public Safety. Through many 991 and Section 18 Expungements, I have deconstructed the legal, social, and financial barriers for my clients by erasing their criminal records.
