Catherine Byerley Available Now

Before joining Ralston, Benton, Byerley & Moore in 2021, I worked as an insurance adjuster for two large national insurance companies, where I gained valuable insight into the claim-handling process. After that, I transitioned to working as an insurance defense attorney, representing various insurance companies and employers in claims brought against them. In 2016, I shifted my focus to representing individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation claims. Drawing on my experience and knowledge, I now work diligently to ensure my clients receive all the benefits they are entitled to. My practice primarily focuses on workers’ compensation, personal injury, and employment law. I have handled a wide range of personal injury claims, including large loss, wrongful death, and uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. I also have significant experience guiding workers’ compensation claims through the hearing process and appeals before the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Additionally, I assist individuals in obtaining unemployment benefits, whether at the Appeals Level, Board of Review, or through a Petition for Judicial Review. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my two children. On weekends, you can often find me cheering on my alma mater—GO MOUNTAINEERS!
