I founded Hurtik Law & Associates in 2010, bringing over a decade of experience in assisting individuals with civil litigation matters. Originally from Michigan, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. My educational journey continued as I obtained a master's degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University, followed by a JD from Gonzaga University School of Law. Before pursuing a career in law, I worked as a realtor and appraiser in Illinois. During this period, I frequently encountered the legal complexities faced by individuals in real estate transactions. This experience inspired me to become an attorney, allowing me to use my knowledge to assist others more effectively. Today, I provide legal services to clients dealing with issues in real estate, bankruptcy, construction law, family law, and estate planning. I am committed to being a dedicated advocate for my clients, working closely with them throughout their cases. I am known for my honesty and directness, ensuring clients receive the information necessary to make informed decisions about their future. I am licensed to practice in all Nevada State Courts, the Federal Court for the District of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit Appellate Court. I am also a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Clark County Bar Association, and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. My practice areas include general liability, civil litigation, construction defect litigation, real estate law, contract law, business litigation, asset protection, and bankruptcy.
