I am a lifelong Alaskan (born in Sitka), have practiced law in Anchorage for 44 years, and am currently a solo practitioner. My practice encompasses all aspects of commercial law, with an emphasis in bankruptcy, debt restructuring and workouts. In re Mortensen: represented Chapter 7 trustee to utilize Section 548(e) to avoid transfer of property by solvent trustor to self-settled trust outside state law; 2011 WL 5025249 (Bankr. D. Alaska, 2011). In re Haida Corporation (1985): first Alaska Native Corporation to file Chapter 11. In re Bonham: represented Chapter 7 trustee in Ponzi scheme case; 229 F. 3rd 750 (9th Cir. 2000) (substantive consolidation), 251 B.R. 113 (Bankr. D. Alaska, 2000)(granting summary judgment on the existence of Ponzi scheme).
