Brian Stimson Available Now

From the start of his legal career, Brian has focused exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation in Portland. As a skilled advocate both in and out of the courtroom, Brian is passionate about guiding clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. Having experienced the fear, pain, and uncertainty that follow an injury firsthand, Brian understands the emotional and physical toll it takes—an insight that helps him build compelling personal injury cases. Brian is deeply involved in the legal community and serves as an elected, voting member of the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates for Region 5. He is also an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, Washington State Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice. Brian is licensed to practice in Oregon state and federal courts, Washington state courts, and is admitted in Minnesota. Brian earned his law degree from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he was a Bakken Fellow, Honor Roll recipient, and frequent competitor in mock trial and moot court. During law school, he gained invaluable courtroom experience clerking for two years as a student attorney at the Hennepin County District Attorney’s Office, where he worked on both civil and criminal cases. He also clerked alongside Senior Ramsey County Judge Judith Tilsen, honing his skills in legal research and case preparation. Before becoming a Portland personal injury attorney, Brian was an award-winning journalist for several Portland-area newspapers. A graduate of the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas, he served as editor-in-chief of the North Texas Daily, where he developed his investigative skills and attention to detail.
