Whether it’s making products safer for children or getting fatigued truck drivers off the road, I’m honored to be part of a system that protects our children and families.” Brendan received his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst College (1995) and his law degree from the University of Missouri (1998). After law school, Brendan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jay A. Daugherty, a Missouri state court judge. He joined Edelman & Thompson in 2000. Since that time, he has been part of the firm’s trial team that has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts. Brendan has been named to Missouri and Kansas SuperLawyers in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and most recently in 2023. SuperLawyers is a listing of the top 5% of lawyers in each state who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. He focuses on cases involving tractor-trailer/semi collisions, automobile collisions, products liability, wrongful death, and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims. He is a member of the Missouri and Kansas Bars, the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association, and the Kansas City Bar Association. Brendan is licensed to practice in the federal and state courts in Kansas and Missouri. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife and two children.
