I began my legal career over two decades ago with the largest family law firm in the nation. Early on, my dedication to achieving excellent results led to recognition as the firm’s Top Overall Performer. This honor reflected my ability to negotiate effectively and support clients through challenging family transitions with care and precision. In 2009, I established The Porter Law Firm, LLC, motivated by a desire to provide personal and compassionate legal representation tailored to each client’s unique situation. Throughout my career, I have managed over 2,000 divorce and family law cases across Georgia. My approach focuses on understanding, strategic planning, and finding practical resolutions. During law school, I went through a divorce myself while raising my three-year-old daughter. By resolving my own case amicably outside of court, I gained a personal understanding of these challenges, shaping my philosophy to prioritize peaceful and fair outcomes for families whenever possible.
