In 1983, while still in graduate school, I began my career as a Certified Intern in the Miami Dade Prosecutor's Office.Then I spent several years in a political law firm in Miami, where I spent uncountable hours learning how to take care of the kind of problems Floridians experience every day. From there, I spent 3 years as an assistant public defender. Through that time in my career, I won 20 consecutive trials. In the following years, I won dozens of trials in a row. Now, no.one wins every case and if anyone tells you they never lose, run in the opposite direction as fast as you can. I have spent much of my career handling criminal defense cases, felonies, misdemeanors, criminal traffic offenses like reckless driving, DUIs and driving with suspended license; and, civil traffic infractions, too.
