About Amanda Elworthy
My practice primarily focuses on family law, criminal defense, and personal injury. I am licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana and in federal court in the Northern District of Indiana. I am committed to working diligently on behalf of my clients, guided by the belief that justice should always be accessible and fairness must never be optional.
I graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2019. During my time there, I not only dedicated myself to my legal studies but also served as an Editor for the Valparaiso University Law Review. I held leadership roles as Secretary for the Tax Law Society and Vice-President of the Animal Law Society. Additionally, I spent a semester abroad in Israel and Palestine, where I focused on International and Humanitarian Law.
Before law school, I earned my undergraduate degree in Political Science from Purdue University. I also gained valuable legal experience working as a paralegal at a respected personal injury law firm serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area. This role provided me with meaningful insight into the legal system and deepened my passion for helping others.
