Abdulrehman Ahmed Available Now

Abdulrehman Ahmed previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Gilson, J.A.D., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Prior to attending Rutgers Law School, Mr. Ahmed earned his B.S. and M.S. degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, graduating cum laude with honors in civil engineering. Subsequently, he spent more than two years as a civil engineer for a construction management firm. During law school, Mr. Ahmed was a finalist in the Nathan Baker Mock Trial Competition. Furthermore, he served as a clinical student attorney at the Rutgers Law Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic, providing corporate and transactional legal assistance to non-profit organizations and small start-up businesses. Mr. Ahmed has previously interned at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General - Consumer Fraud Prosecution Division, assisting with investigations, research, document review, discovery, and pleadings primarily with regard to matters under the Consumer Fraud Act. He has also worked at Kates, Nussman, Ellis, Farhi, and Earle where he assisted with various stages of litigation including drafting pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and motions. Mr. Ahmed is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, and Middlesex County Bar Association. In addition to his private practice work, he has been involved with a broad array of pro bono matters, including participating in pro bono work with Sanctuary for Families, assisting victims of domestic violence, as well as Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, assisting indigent clients with bankruptcy, divorce, and evictions. In 2020, the Eric R. Neisser Public Interest Program recognized Mr. Ahmed for contributing over 100 hours of pro bono service.
