Aaron Kemp Available Now

Aaron is a senior attorney and chair of the regulatory practice group in the Troy, Michigan office of Chapman Law Group. Aaron joined Chapman Law Group in 2015 bringing over a decade of experience in the defense of medical malpractice litigation, along with representing physicians in credentialing and licensing matters and counseling physician practice groups. His practice has included providing risk management and compliance counseling to individual physicians and practice groups, with a particular emphasis on chiropractors, psychiatrists, and emergency department physicians. He has also been privileged to serve as personal counsel to physicians and other healthcare professionals in medical malpractice matters concerning issues of premature settlements, excess verdict exposure, and NPDB report disputes. He focuses his practice on the defense of healthcare professionals in licensing investigations, credentialing and NPDB matters. Aaron was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan at Bon Secours Hospital. His father and sister are mental health professionals and he has dedicated his career to the defense of physicians and other health care providers. Aaron graduated from De La Salle Collegiate in Warren, Michigan and went on to Michigan State University. Aaron attended Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University and graduated Cum Laude (J.D. 1997). While in law school, Aaron was an editor of the Law Review and law clerk at Kemp, Klein, Umphrey & Endelman, P.C. Aaron and his wife are the proud parents of four children, two boys, and two girls. When away from the practice of law, Aaron enjoys supporting Michigan State athletics and cheering on his girls in competitive dance and his eldest son in football.
